For a fun-filled day with an educational twist, check out The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples. This two-story, green-friendly complex offers kids of any age exciting opportunities to learn, build, and explore. Your children can wander the Florida Everglades, climb an ancient banyan tree, explore their artistic side, or hang out at the beach – all in one place. Check out some of the exhibits and events that this exceptional museum has to offer, and then plan your visit today!

Exhibits

The interactive exhibits inside the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples were developed by experts in child psychology to encourage creativity, empathy, curiosity, and self-esteem. Your kids will find no shortage of fun, educational activities on your visit, such as learning about the seasons and rhythms of the earth inside Mother Nature’s House or tinkering with different building materials and blocks at the Build It and Blue exhibits. Children can also step into the world of a veterinarian, serve food at the World Cafe, or be a train conductor on the C’mon Trolly.

Until May 5th, visitors can also hop aboard the Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train, based off the popular kid’s show. This limited engagement exhibit allows children to dig for dinosaur bones while learning about our prehistoric world and the science of paleontology.

Events

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year. Some are exclusive to members, but others are open to the public, such as the annual Boo Bash, Jingle Bell Bash, and Sand Sculpting Competition. They even toss in some fun for adults with C’mon After Dark.

Once a month, the museum hosts Sensory Night for children on the Autism spectrum and/or with other sensory integration disorders. These evenings have limited participation to purposefully minimize crowds, and feature muted sounds and lighting, special sensory activities, and cool-down spaces.
