You can expect a cozy huddle of indoor tables around the counter where you order at Taqueria San Julian. This is such a great taco joint with one of the best steak quesadillas and excellent pork soft tacos. Tacos are usually $1.50-2.00, and the big splurge on the menu is a shrimp cocktail with avocado that’s really good.

This eclectic atmosphere and chill vibe make this the perfect place in Naples! Can’t decide between a taco and a cheeseburger with your margarita? Here you don’t have to. Tacos and Tequila offers all the traditional taco favorites – chorizo, al pastor, carne asada, chicken along with a cheeseburger taco with all the American fixings including queso and pickles. And the chicken-pancake taco is a big favorite too with buttermilk chicken dipped in pancake batter, bacon and maple syrup.

Casamigos

At first glance, this gem looks like every other Mexican food restaurant. Casamigos is located in the back corner of a shopping center off U.S. 41 but you can’t miss the red and green buzzing sign.

Diners get their own bowl of salsa which is really cool so you don’t have to worry about your neighbor double dipping. AND the queso fundido is ooey-gooey yum topped with jalapeno slices and crumbles of grilled chorizo pork sausage in a clay dish. The favorite here is the mojarra frita if you are in the mood for a whole fried tilapia finely cooked and amazing.
