Naples Water Park

During these hot summer months, there’s no doubt that the local water park is the place to be. As Collier County’s only water park, the Sun-N-Fun Lagoon is the perfect spot for the whole family. With four pools, a lazy river, splash playground, and five water slides, there are plenty of ways to cool off from the heat. During the month of August, the water park is open seven days a week until the 14th, giving you and the family plenty of chances to visit and have an absolute blast.

Naples Zoo

For a day of learning, plus a great time, take the family out to the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens. Located at 1590 Goodlette Road, the zoo is open every day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Along with so many different kinds of animals to discover, there are also special events throughout the day that you don’t want to miss, and the Florida Panther Exhibit is definitely one of them. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Athena the Panther will be out while Uno will be out from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There’s also the Giraffe Feeding Experience that the kids go crazy over. While only costing $5 to feed them, this is one experience your child won’t soon forget.
