Attend The 46th Annual Fort Myers Boat Show

A can’t-miss event is coming to Fort Myers, drawing boating enthusiasts from all over Southwest Florida and beyond for the premier boating showcase in the region. This year marks the 46th annual Fort Myers Boat Show, and it’s set for Thursday, November 15 through Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Water, Water Everywhere

With so many different bodies of water in the Southwest Florida area, it’s only fitting that the Fort Myers Boat Show is such a popular draw amongst locals and visitors from other areas of Florida and beyond. During the event, people converge downtown on the banks of the Caloosahatchee, in the heart of the River District, to browse a huge array of boats, boat products, personal watercraft, and accessories. And the 46th annual show has more on display than ever before.

This year marks an expanded layout for the boat show, with the Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association having invested in floating docks and equipment to facilitate the in-water displays.

Beyond the boats and watercraft themselves, there will be much more to see and do. You will be able to learn about marine services and peruse motors, boat lifts, docks, clothing – everything even remotely boat-related will be showcased over the course of the weekend. At Fishin’ Frank’s Fishin’ Village, a highlight of the boat show, you’ll see tackle displays, a seminar area, factory pricing for the show, and Frank’s fishing simulator.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $12 per person at the gate, with children under 16 free with a paid adult. Park for $5 in the nearby grass lot at First Street and Altamont Avenue and hop a trolley to the boat show entrance, which has moved to the west end of Centennial Park this year.
