The 2022 Suburban arrives with several updates, including the expanded availability of the 6.2-liter V8 engine and the addition of the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster to all but the LS trim, along with a revised infotainment system that now offers Google features such as voice assistant, maps, and an app store. The Suburban sits on 18-inch wheels and features a prominent silver grille, trim headlights, and long, clean character lines. Three new exterior colors arrive in 2022, including Auburn Metallic, Evergreen Gray Metallic, and Dark Ash Metallic.
The Suburban’s cavernous and comfortable interior centers around a standard 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen. Additional standard infotainment features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay®, eight USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, high-definition radio, and more. Available infotainment features include a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, navigation, and a rear-seat entertainment system. The Suburban offers three engine variations: a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower, a 3.0-liter turbodiesel that generates 277 horsepower, and a 6.2-liter V8 engine that pumps out 420 horsepower.
